How to Draw Tom Brady

  • To make this a realistic drawing of Tom Brady, you’ll have to pay careful attention to your placement of his features
  • If you look carefully at the grid image you’ll notice that his head is slightly tilted
  • His right eyebrow, eye, nostril and the right corner of his mouth are all slightly higher that his features on the left
  • In this image Tom Brady has frown lines on his brow. These are important to capture to show his expression but be careful not to make them too pronounced or too dark
  • Build up the foundational tone of Tom’s skin, then work in the shadows and his stubble
  • Notice the subtleties in the shadows cast under his chin – it’s not just one tone
  • There is a darker triangle shape directly under his chin, and then a lighter shadow to the right on his neck
  • Check the grid drawing for detail on the direction of his hair
