How to Draw Pink

  • Keep the light areas of her eye white and clean by clearly outlining those areas with a sharp, hard pencil, then shading in around those areas.
  • Then use a soft 2B or 4B pencil to shade in the dark eye make-up. Build up the layers using shading and cross hatching.

  • Notice the contrast in the edges of the shadow beneath Pink’s chin. The edge under her chin is more crisp and defined than the other edge that meets her neck. Use a softer 2B or 4B to create the subtle fade on the outer edge.
  • Use a cross-hatching shading effect with a hard pencil (F, H, 2H) to get the texture of her eyebrows.
